Edison State College Settles with Former President
PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - The Edison State College Board of Trustees has reached a settlement agreement with former president Kenneth Walker.
The Board of Trustees Tuesday afternoon approved a $540,000 settlement where all claims between both parties will be released, and Walker will tender his retirement effective January 23, 2012.
The board fired Walker with cause late last year following a course swapping scandal, nursing school accreditation problem, and questions about administrative hires and pay raises.
