WFTX - Privacy settings on Facebook have long been a bone of contention for many users.  Now, the world's largest social network says it's making fresh changes to those settings.

Facebook says it will now make it so users can choose who will see a photo or status update when they post it.

If that sounds familiar, it's because that's what competitor Google Plus already does.

Right now, on Facebook, users must navigate lists on settings pages in order to adjust these settings.
