Events and Things To Do This Weekend June 16 to 18 in Southwest Florida
Dads will have a blast this weekend celebrating their day in Southwest Florida!
The areas of Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Naples are filled with events, activities and things to do this Father's Day weekend. There will be truck Shows, live entertainment , food and drink events and fun for the entire family.
This is a show for all years of Trucks, Jeeps and SUV’s only and children can enter their battery powered ride on toys (Power Wheels) to show. There will be a dedicated Show Truck parking area. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, food and drinks for purchase.
All runners are welcome at this year's summer Sizzler 5K Race. Come out, have a great run,The Course Races begin and end at Jaycee Park at the end of Beach Parkway in Cape Coral alongside the Caloosahatchee River.
The beautiful downtown Fort Myers River District comes alive the third Friday of every month with live music at over a dozen venues, including restaurants, galleries, and bars, plus a variety of street performers. Music Walk venues showcase a range of music. The event is the largest monthly of its kind regionally.
All dads are invited to come see Edison Ford for free on Father's Day. This is a great way for visitors to enjoy the day with their fathers! The free admission includes a self-guided audio tour of the winter estates homes, Inventions Museum, National Chemical Landmark Laboratory and more than 20 acres of gardens.
The Shell Factory is celebrating Father's Day. They will be hosting a special Father's Day cookout with free miniature golf for the whole family. Dad's get in with free admission and also a free zip-line!
Continuing the monthly Bike Night series featuring live music with Electric Mud. They will have limited edition T-shirts, burnout pit, jumpstart, food trucks, craft beer, vendor alley bikers games and exclusive giveaways. A bike show will take place in front of the dealership.

The June Rhythm on the River event at Edison & Ford Winter Estates will celebrate Father's Day a little early with food, drinks and music on June 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This will be a special event for Dads, they will be celebrating with craft beer and bratwurst from Pinchers, live music with Steve Farst and, of course, the spectacular sunset and river view!
In honor of World Giraffe Day (official day June 21), South Street City Oven and Grill is partnering with Naples Zoo to host "Longnecks for Longnecks", a fun play on words for bottled beer and giraffes. I’m a STAR is a musical theater production for people with physical and intellectual disabilities- the first of its kind. The NPAC's I'm a STAR cast will showcase their individual and group talents with the application of the three performing arts: dance, drama and music.
