Whether you want to party at the beach, have an exiting bike night, listen to great live music around downtown, run in a marathon, watch and enchanted ice skating show or even take the kiddos to the space and beyond! Southwest Florida offers you all these events and more this coming weekend.
All these activities will take place all around Bonita Spring, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, LeHigh Acres and Naples.
Grab some friends, gas up your boats/jet skis, dust off your kayaks, pack a cooler, prep the Jell-O shots and head out to Big Hickory Island for a fun day on the water! There are no food vendors or medical staff on hand, so pack accordingly. This is a free event and the only way to get there is by water!

How to get there: Located just north of the Bonita Beach Club, around 26*22'.189 N and 81*51'.960 W, there is plenty of space for boats of any size, a huge sandbar (not oyster beds), and clean flowing water without a dangerous current.
Lace up your shoes and get ready for the Annual Cape Cops 5k Run/Walk! The entry fee includes a very nice tech shirt, a race bag filled with goodies, and post-race snacks and refreshments. This race benefits a fund to assist families of fallen, injured and disabled police officers. The course takes you through surrounding neighborhoods. Refreshments will be served following the race.

In a way of saying "Thank you" to their loyal vendors and customers, the Ortiz Ave Flea Market is celebrating their 50th year in business!! There will be fun activities for the kids, including inflatable slides and obstacle courses, along with face-painting and balloons! They will also have gifts for the adults!
The Downtown River District of Fort Myers really comes alive during the monthly Music Walk event.; the music really takes center stage. Performers and bands take the streets playing jazz, rock and roll, top 40 and everything in between.

Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play organized by National Park Trust. Enjoy music, bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, arts and crafts, kid's Zumba, potato sack relay race, dance contest, a zero-gravity bouncer, public works vehicles and more. All kids’ activities are free. Food trucks will be on site to sell a variety of reasonably-priced lunch items.
This sure will be a day of fun-filled activities for the Jeeps lovers!. The Caloosa Jeepers of SWFL will be celebrating their 6th annual Go Topless Day with proceeds to benefit Partners for Breast Cancer Care Inc., a local organization that provides mammograms and treatment to Lee County residents that may otherwise not be able to afford it. There will be music, food, raffle prizes, and family-friendly off-road fun.
Grab your space suits at the Golisano's Children Museum as they blast off with the Race to Space exhibit. Visit the Rocket Design Station where kids can build and test their own rocket, then, take a trip to the Launch Module and blast your rocket into orbit!
