The Salvation Army is partnering with Lee County public schools for an annual food drive.
The event is hosted by the Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties.
Each school will collect canned goods for those in need, and the school with the most donations will win a pizza party.
The drive runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 12.
Residents can donate items in honor of a school by dropping off their items at the Salvation Army located on Edison Ave.
