Feds Call SWFL Ground Zero for Slavery

Slavery in Southwest Florida is real.  People are forced to live in deplorable conditions, inside trucks, without food, even chained to poles.  Then they are forced to work under threats of violence without pay.  The feds say they caught the slave drivers in an Immokalee case but many more are out there.  The Coalition of Immokalee Workers tells 4 In Your Corner it hears shameful stories of slavery on a daily basis.  The United States Government says what happened at one Immokalee home is a vile vision of slavery.  The Coalition says Ssouthwest Florida is ground zero for modern day slavery but Immokalee residents say they never knew something like that was happening right in their backyard.  While the U.S. Attorney will not say where the Immokalee victims are now, they are safe.  Meanwhile, the Department of Justice says this is the s7th slavery case in south Florida in the last decade.
