We're finally seeing the town meeting that got one woman banned from Ave Maria University. University officials say Marielena Montisino de Stuart was so disruptive at that meeting that she can't go on campus as a regular citizen or a journalist. She writes for a Catholic newspaper. Montesino de Stuart says she feels trapped in her home, because 20% of the 5000 acre town is university property.
"This is supposed to be a university town so that includes being able to attend lectures, concerts, libraries, all of these things are the reason we're here," she explained. Today we requested an interview with the university's public relations officials, but they wouldn't go on camera with us, or give an explanation of exactly what constitues being disruptive.
