LEE COUNTY, Fla. - People who've done something amazing were honored Monday .

They received the Phoenix award which goes to people who literally bring people back from the dead.

In other words, they went into cardiac arrest and their hearts stopped beating.

The award is given out twice a year and can go to anyone involved in saving a life this day.

That includes emergency responders, 911 dispatchers and bystanders.

If you'd like to nominate someone, contact Lee County EMS at (239) 533-3911
