Woman who robbed 80-year-old outside of a Publix arrested in North Florida
FORT MYERS - The woman suspected of robbing an 80-year-old woman outside a Fort Myers Publix last month is now behind bars.
Multiple tips led to the arrest of Sarah Greene, 38, who was running from the law in Maryland. She was arrested in Jacksonville, after stealing from an area Wal-Mart.
Lee County detectives say Greene was traveling with her boyfriend, Jeffery Corby. He remains at large, and could also face charges related to the Publix attack.
Greene is expected to be brought back to Lee County to face several charges including robbery, battery, fraudulent use of a credit card, and grand theft.
