PUNTA GORDA - Police arrested a woman after they say she called 911 after a police officer refused to have sex with her.

58-year-old Maria Montanez-Colon is charged with misuse of the 911 system.

An officer responded to the home and met the reportedly intoxicated woman who he says made inappropriate comments during their meeting.

The officer told her to call the non-emergency line for issues in the future.

That's when Colon reportedly called 911 a second time because the officer rejected her advances.

The officer was called back to the residence and arrested her.
