Warren Wright's Mothers Pecan Pie
When my mom passed away more than 20 years ago... her pecan pie recipe went with her. It was the best. And, during the holidays we always talked about how much we missed her and her special dessert pie. After years of searching... I think I found the recipe that seems most like Mom's. I really can't describe to you how much this recipe means to me. I hope you enjoy it.
1 cup light Karo syrup
1/2 stick butter melted
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup pecans
Mix well- Do NOT beat. Add pecans last. Just stir them in. Pour into an unbanked pie crust. Pie crust can either be store bought or from scratch.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
