Victim in Saturday night Fort Myers shooting identified
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police released the identity Monday morning of a weekend shooting victim. The man shot Saturday night near Ford Street and Thomas Street is 35-year-old Timothy Brown.
Brown is in stable condition.
Police received a call about a shooting near the intersection of Ford Street and Thomas Street at 8:48 p.m.
Upon arrival officers observed a second male pulling the victim from the canal that runs alongside Ford Street to the east.
Two officers began CPR on the victim who was not breathing and unconscious. They were able to revive Brown.
