Two firefighters injured in Fort Myers house fire
FORT MYERS, Fl. - Two firefighters are recovering at Lee Memorial Hospital Friday morning, after being injured fighting a large fire in downtown Fort Myers.
Firefighter Shane Ramy suffered a fractured hip and is listed in good condition. The other firefighter Tony Price suffered broken rips and a broken collarbone and is in fair condition.
The fire happened on Blake Street in downtown just after midnight.
Fire crews battled the fire for about an hour and the two firefighters were injured when part of the house house collapsed on them.
