NAPLES – One dead and one injured bald eagle taken to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.

An FWC officer found the dead eagle under a power line on Naples Boulevard.

Bald eagles have a six to eight foot wing span and don't always clear the space when they try to fly through double power lines.  The second eagle was found on the Glades Golf and Country Club.

The eagle was suffering from arrhythmia and was in critical condition; sadly it had to be euthanized.
