Trayvon nativity stirs controversy
CLERMONT - A nativity scene at a California church is raising some eyebrows.
Instead of a baby Jesus, it features a bloody sculpture of Trayvon Martin.
The artist says it is meant to get people thinking about the human cost of gun violence.
The church is known for its controversial nativity scenes. They have previously featured Mary and Joseph as homeless people and war refugees.
George Zimmerman was aquitted earlier this year in the shooting death of the teen.
