Teen found with knives at East Lee County High School
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - A 17-year-old Lehigh Acres teenager is facing a charge of possession of a weapon on school property.
The incident happened last Friday at East Lee County High School. An assistant principal was talking to the suspect when he noticed what appeared to be a pocket knife attached to his front pants. The student was taken to an office where an administrative search was conducted.
The arrest report shows that during the search, a box cutter that opened like a pocket knife was found on the suspect's front pants. Inside of his backpack were two Chinese style throwing knives.
The week before a student was accused of bringing a gun to the same high school.
