Suspect sought in Fort Myers hotel burglary
SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County detectives are asking for help in capturing a man who robbed a Fort Myers Hotel on Tuesday January 25.
Deputies responded to a burglary call at the Fairfield Inn on Cypress Trace. The front desk employee said an undisclosed amount of cash was taken while he was away from his desk helping a guest.
Surveillance video shows the suspect enter the hotel lobby, jump over the front desk counter and take cash from the drawer. The suspect is described as a thin, white male, approximately mid to late 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie with writing on the back which read “Hate Campaign” in white lettering, khaki pants and dark colored skateboard-type shoes.
