FORT MYERS, Fla. - Multiple roads in downtown Fort Myers are back open Sunday while authorities investigated a suspicious package.
The call came in shortly before 2 Sunday afternoon about a briefcase that was left on the west side of the Greyhound bus station on Widman Way.
Authorities then evacuated the bus station and blocked off surounding streets in all directions while the Lee County Sheriff's Bomb Squad checked it out.
The briefcase has since been deemed safe.
