Port Charlotte man wanted for necklace theft

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County detectives are searching for a Port Charlotte man in connection with a strong armed robbery for stealing a necklace for a 71-year-old man.

An arrest warrant is out for 28-year-old Blake Scott Coker who has a last known address of 18382 Wayne Street in Port Charlotte. 

He is described as being a white male, about 5 ft. 6 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.  He has tattoos on both arms.
The victim told investigators he met Coker on Monday while he was doing work in his yard.  When Coker came back to his home that evening for payment, he snatched it from his neck and fled on foot down the street.

When last seen by the victim, Coker was wearing a blue ball cap, white T-shirt with Sherwin-Williams on the front and blue sweatpants.  He may be riding a black bicycle.  He is known to frequent the North Port area.
