PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte County detectives arrested a 20-year-old Port Charlotte man Wednesday after questioning him about dozens of pieces of jewelry and other items he had pawned.

Detectives picked up Richard Barkley from his job at the Punta Gorda Airport.  They questioned him about the pawning of 98 pieces of jewelry, nine collectible knives and two musical instruments.  The items were pawned at Winchester Gold for $3,777.00.
