New Fort Myers library open

FORT MYERS - The new Fort Myers Regional Library is officially open for business. 

The new 43,000 square foot building features over 160,000 collections, a talking books library, meeting rooms, a kids zone and aplace for teens. 

The total cost of the project was about $20 million. 

The library is open to the public from 9-5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 9-8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 9-6 p.m. on Thursday.
