NAPLES, Fla. - A 22-year-old Naples woman is facing a hit and run charge for an incident involving a pedestrian Monday morning.

A man was crossing 92nd Avenue at Tamiami Trail N. when a driver stuck him, sending over the hood of her car, injuring his back, shoulder and knee.  He was treated at an area hospital.

Witnesses say the driver sped away from the scene and one got the license plate.

As deputies were investigating the crash the driver returned to the scene about 50 minutes later.

Melissa Gizelle Garcia says a friend from WINK TV had called her and said law enforcement had issued a broadcast to look for her.  Garcia later turned herself into the jail on Tuesday to be charged with hit and run involving an injury.
