Naples woman arrested for Medicaid fraud

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A Naples woman was arrested today for Medicaid fraud.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said Barbara Hilliard Brown was picked up on a felony warrant from the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Brown is charged with one count of Medicaid fraud, a first degree felony and two counts of grand theft.  She allegedly defrauded the program out of more than $60,000.

If convicted Brown faces up to 60 years in prison and more than $300,000 in fines.
