NAPLES, Fla. - A Collier County deputy on traffic patrol Tuesday night spotted a red Ferrari speeding on Vanderbilt Drive.  His radar read 101 miles per hour as the car sped down a stretch of street with a posted 35 m.p.h. speed limit.

The deputy began to pursue the Ferrari and he watched as the speeding car passed two vehicles before slowing down.  That allowed the deputy to catch up to the Ferrari.

Once the car pulled over the deputy walked up to it and spotted the driver, 49-year-old Sudhir Bajaj of Naples and two women, one sitting atop the other, in the passenger seat.

Bajaj was arrested for wreckless driving.  The deputy says Bajaj pleaded with him to lessen the speed or the other charge as he was taken to jail.
