FORT MYERS, Fla. - Between the parking, the crowds and the deals, last minute Christmas shopping can be exhausting.

"It's a little bit of a marathon, we started a couple hours ago and will probably go until six tonight," shopper Pamela Devaney said.

Dalitza Jordan also braved the crowds this weekend to find presents for her two daugthers.

"I haven't been able to shop so like every other person, last minute shopping," Jordan said.

Last minute shopping means big crowds for the staff at Edison Mall, so they come prepared.

"Stores and the mall in general, we always hire more for the holiday season and also for the snowbirds, the spring time frame, we want to make sure we have the demand for the shoppers to spend money," Edison Mall Director of Marketing Sarah Berthold said.

Edison Mall is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Miromar Outlets are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Coconut Point is open Monday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m Christmas Eve.

All locations are closed Christmas Day.
