Immokalee woman arrested after fight over baby and prostitution
IMMOKALEE, Fla. - An Immokalee woman was arrested for domestic violence after getting into a fight with her ex-boyfriend, who told deputies the suspect tried to take their baby out while she worked as a prostitute.
19-year-old Alisia Alverez was arrested Wednesday by a Collier County deputy who was called to an apartment that she shared with her ex-boyfriend. The two lived together and had a baby.
Deputies say Alverez tried to take the couple's baby out with her when she planned to prostitute to earn money for drugs. The ex-boyfriend stopped her and that led to a fight.
Deputies determined that Alverez was at fault and took her into custody for battery, domestic violence.
