Hazeldon, Betty Ford to merge
A merger going forward for two of the country's leading addiction treatment providers.
Hazelden and Betty Ford Center announced that government regulators have approved a deal to create the new Hazelden-Betty Ford Foundation.
The merger will make it the nation's largest nonprofit treatment organization.
If the name Hazelden sounds familiar to you, that's where former Southwest Florida Congressman Trey Radel did his rehab stint for alcoholism in the wake of his cocaine bust.
