FORT MYERS, Fla. - A U.S. postal worker was sent to Lee Memorial Hospital after coming across a package leaking an unidentified liquid at the Page Field post office.

Fortunately, it turned out the liquid was a non-hazardous material.

The situation did require the package to be isolated at the post office while a determination is made as to its content.

The worker initially went across the street to a Lee County EMS facility where they were decontaminated before being taken to the hospital.

The Lee County EMS facility was also on quarantine until it was determined there was no danger.  The event last three hours.
