Fort Myers man arrested for looking up skirts
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Alert employees at a Kmart led to the arrest of a Fort Myers man on Monday, charged with one count of voyeurism and one count of disturbing the peace.
A loss prevention officer told a Lee County deputy that he noticed 64-year-old Robert Mazzola using a mirror to look under the victim's skirt. The incident happened in late December.
He also noted past incidents where Mazzola followed young children around the store located at 15271 McGregor Boulevard.
Detectives contacted the victim's parents about the incident. The victim confirmed that she had seen Mazzola with a mirror angled toward her skirt.
Mazzola was picked up on Monday and questioned about the incident, then charged.
