Florida's jobless numbers even better in SWFL

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Florida's unemployment rate feel in October.  The jobless rate now stands at 6.7 percent compared to September's number of 6.8 percent.

This is the lowest that the state's unemployment rate has been since August 2008. There are an estimated 625,000 people out of work in the state.
Florida's unemployment rate is below the national rate of 7.3 percent.
The numbers were even better for Lee and Collier counties.  The jobless rate fell month to month in Lee County from 7.0 percent to 6.5 percent.  The drop was even bigger in Collier County from 7.2 percent to 6.4 percent.
