FLOTUS looks to ban junk food in schools
First Lady Michelle Obama is set to unveil a new proposal to ban the marketing of junk food and sodas in schools, POLITICO reports.
Schools would no longer be able to house vending machines that have images of sodas or posters promoting unhealthy food.
The new measure stems from the 2010 Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act.
Finding ways to combat childhood obesity is also a key focus of the First Lady's "Let's Move" campaign.
