East Fort Myers Waffle House robbed

EAST FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County deputies are searching for two men responsible for the armed robbery of a Waffle House in East Fort Myers early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded at around 5:23 a.m. to the Waffle House  located at 4050 Boatways Road.

Employees say two men entered the store wearing masks.  They pointed guns at employees and patrons demanding money.  They took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.  No one was injured.

The suspects are described as thin, black males; one was wearing jeans, a black shirt with a black ski mask on. The other was wearing dark colored pants, a maroon shirt with a black ski mask.
