WASHINGTON D.C. - Fox 4 is digging deeper into the House Ethics Committee investigation into Southwest Florida Congressman Trey Radel after he pleaded guilty to a cocaine charge.

Fox 4 tracked down a member of the Ethics Committee, Rep. Ted Deutch, who represents a portion of Southeast Florida in the House of Representatives.

He says there are "repurcussions" for House members' actions and Congress will use whatever "tools" it has to deal with the matter.

He did not speficify when the ethics investigation might conclude.

But a top political writer for The Hill newspaper, Cameron Joseph, says the investigation could reveal more secrets about Radel - secrets that weren't stated in the federal court case againt him.

"And that could hurt him," says Joseph.
