Deadly shooting investigation in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers police are on the scene of a deadly shooting near Hansen Street and Central Avenue this Monday morning.
A call came in around 8:15 a.m. about shots fired in the area. When police arrived they found the body of a black male lying in a driveway in the 2400 Hansen Street.
Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Cregg Davonte Ivey of Fort Myers. Police are still maintaining a portion of the crime scene but the roadways around the scene are now open.
The shooting happened not far from Fort Myers Middle School, which is not open today due to President's Day.
Currently no suspect is in custody.

FMPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons responsible for any homicide in the City of Fort Myers. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
