NAPLES, Fla. - Dozens of pooches paraded Third Street in Naples for the fifth annual Pets on Third event.

"My theme is go Patriots! Because we want Brady to bring us through to the Super Bowl!" Dog owner Linda Palmer said.

Palmer and her friend's dressed their five dogs up in Patriots gear to fit with this year's theme, All Star Pets: Show Your Team Spirit.

Deborah O'Brien dressed her nine-year-old Yorkie named Stella up as a Green Bay Packers cheerleader.

"We come out to this event every year just to raise money to help the dogs have fun," O'Brien said.

All the money raised at Pets on Third goes towards the City of Naples Dog Park.

"There's so many people here that have dogs and it gives them the opportunity to play with their dogs freely, off the leash and people just love it, the dogs love it, and it's safe and it's clean," Palmer said.

Hundreds lined the street for the parade led by Naples Mayor John Sorey.

Awards were given out for the most unusual costume, best pet and owner look alike and best theme costume.
