Condo fire in South Fort Myers

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fire broke out shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday in South Fort Myers.  A resident of the Park Condo Complex smelled smoke and called firefighters,

Fire broke out on the third floor of the four story complex.  The apartment where the fire started was damaged as was the apartment above it from smoke.

Water used to fight the fire damaged two condos below the third floor unit.

The State Fire Marshall is on the scene determining what caused the fire.  The American Red Cross is helping displaced residents.
