Bible credited with saving man's life
DAYTON, OH - A Bible is being credited with saving a mans life during a robbery Monday morning.
A New Testament Bible was in the front pocket of Regional Transit Authority bus driver Rickey Waggoner's shirt.
WHIO-TV reports that two bullets fired during a robbery stopped at the Bible, never striking the man.
"There was obviously some kind of intervention involved in this incident because (Waggoner) should probably not be here," Dayton Police Sgt. Michael Pauley said.
Waggoner was hit in the leg by a bullet and also suffered a stab wound in the incident.
Police are searching for the suspects.
