Alcohol appears to be factor in serious Fort Myers motorcycle crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. - One person is critically injured after a motorcycle crash allegedly involving alcohol in Fort Myers early Sunday morning.

 
The Florida Highway Patrol charging 29-year-old Michael Agosto with DUI with serious bodily injury, driving on a suspended license and careless driving. 
 
Troopers say the crash happened just before 3:30 at US 41 and Airport Road. 
 
Agosto was heading north on his bike when he rear-ended a car that had stopped for traffic.
 
His passenger, 32-year-old Carlos Montalban, suffered critical injuries after they were both thrown from the bike.
 
The three people inside in the car were unharmed.
