  • Print

Spirits of Bacchus in downtown Fort Myers will display a local photographer’s artwork for one month and host an art show in July. Photographer Caroline Morris’ artwork will be on display at the bar located at 1406 Hendry Street in downtown Fort Myers until July 11. Hours of display are Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to late and Sunday from 1 p.m. to late. On Friday, July 11, Morris will be on hand for a closing art reception at Spirits of Bacchus from 7 to 9 p.m. The show is a culmination of photos inspired by areas around Southwest Florida. Morris will be relocating to Franklin, Tenn. this summer. A Fort Myers resident for the past 11 years, Morris is originally from Livonia, N.Y. and is the eldest of nine children. Her grandfather was a painter and sculptor, and she draws her motivation and inspiration from her sister who is a self-taught painter. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida. All of Morris’ displayed work will be available for sale. For more information, call 239-560-7388.
