Bennett's Fresh Roast celebrates National Doughnut Day June 6

  • Print

Both Bennett’s Fresh Roast locations will be offering free doughnuts on Friday, June 6 to celebrate National Doughnut Day. National Doughnut Day occurs the first Friday of June each year, succeeding the Doughnut Day event created by The Salvation Army in 1938. National Doughnut Day started as a fundraiser for Chicago’s Salvation Army to help those in need during the Great Depression and to honor The Salvation Army “Lassies” of World War I, who served doughnuts to soldiers. While supplies last, on Friday, June 6, Bennett’s Fresh Roast locations in downtown Fort Myers and Sanibel Island will offer a free doughnut (limit one per customer) with the purchase of any size coffee. Both locations are open Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Occurs once: Jun 6, 2014 (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
