#WFTLearn: Litigation Issues in Real Estate
Winged Foot Title is very excited to announce that P. Brandon Perkins, accomplished litigator and appellate attorney, will be leading our learning in May. We get lots of “what if...” questions from our REALTOR® clientele and their customers. More often than not, these are questions with very complicated answers that depend not only on contractual issues but also on the practical issues associated with arbitrating or litigating a matter. Our Chris Black on Brandon: “When I have a question, Brandon is my go to guy. He has the wonderful ability to synthesize complicated facts and anticipate what is likely to happen 7 or 8 steps out; whereas I may only be able to anticipate 2. That level of foresight and experience is invaluable in making sound decisions about how to navigate certain nasty real estate issues. Oh, and he wears really cool bow ties.” Among other things, Brandon will talk about changes to the statute of limitations on mortgage foreclosures, deficiency judgment issues, fraud trends he’s witnessed in the courtroom, earnest money deposit disputes, etc. But as always, the conversation will be driven by YOUR questions. So join us, bring questions, enjoy some eats, drinks and professional networking, and get your #WFTLearn on.
