Mother’s Day prix-fixe brunch at Angelina’s Ristorante

Angelina’s Ristorante will celebrate Easter with a four-course prix-fixe brunch Sunday, May 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Consulting Executive Chef Sarah Grueneberg designed the special Mother’s Day menu to showcase Angelina’s renowned classic Italian selections, including antipasti for the table. Salad or soup choices include -Caesar: romaine, Tuscan kale, parmigiano reggiano, garlic anchovy dressing -caprese: local brandywine tomatoes, basil, burrata, pistachio -pizzette di zucchini: squash blossoms, tomato, burrata -zuppa di piselli: chilled English pea soup, king crab, whipped mascarpone -uovo in purgatorio: baked farm egg in spicy tomato sauce, garlic bruschetta -pizzette margherita: tomato, mozzarella di bufala, basil -Carpaccio: prime beef Carpaccio, arugula, umbriaco cheese The entree course includes a choice of -fritatta del giorno: open-faced Italian-style omelette, Yukon gold potatoes, asparagus, black truffle -tagliatelle con aragosta: Maine lobster, pasta ribbons, dried cherry tomatoes, arugula -cernia mediterranea: brown butter roasted grouper, cauliflower puree, zucchini, tomatoes, Taggiasca -olives, capers -insalata di tonno: caper-crusted medium-rare tuna, fingerling potatoes, hard-boiled quail egg, green beans, frisee, Taggiasca olives -ravioli di zucca: butternut squash ravioli, sundried tomatoes, truffled almonds -pollo scallopine alla limone: Belle and Evans chicken breast, lemon, celery, Castelvetrano olives, artichokes, crispy polenta -filetto di manzo: filet mignon, carrot jus, English peas and tendrils, roasted potatoes (supplement $8) -costalette d’agnello: Roman-style lamb chops, couscous, eggplant caponata (supplement $10). The dessert course includes a choice of -tiramisu: Amaretto soaked cake, espresso gelato, mascarpone cream -gelati e sorbetti: selection of our house-made ice cream and sorbet -cioccolato: flourless chocolate cake, passion fruit, coconut sorbet -torta di limoncello: Key lime tart, blackberries, whipped cream -cannoli siciliani: Sicilian cannoli, ricotta, chocolate, candied orange -panna cotta: dark chocolate panna cotta, mint -piatto di formaggio: selection of Italian cheeses, honey The Mother’s Day prix-fixe brunch is priced at $65 per person (plus tax and gratuity); a special kids menu is available for $15 per child through age 12 (plus tax and gratuity).
