The Yoga Sanctuary and The Foot Landing are thrilled to offer this 6-week series, designed specifically for runners. Begin with a 15-minute warm-up that includes a new skill lesson and technique info with the RRCA-certified coaches from The Foot Landing. Next, incorporate those skills as the coaches lead you on a 30-minute run through beautiful Punta Gorda. There is no pace requirement, and walkers or walk/runners are welcome. After the run, slide right into a run-specific yoga class with The Yoga Sanctuary and experience for yourself how a consistent yoga practice can help prevent soreness and keep injuries at bay. Learn yogic techniques to help strengthen and stretch key muscles such as the core, quads, hamstrings, and hip flexors. Develop body and breath awareness, improve range of motion, and increase mental focus and concentration, all of which will help you run more efficiently (and feel better). Towels for after the run and all yoga props will be provided. No experience necessary.
