ULI presents real estate trends and forecasts at Feb. 6 event

Urban Land Institute-Southwest Florida welcomes Dean Schwanke, senior vice president and executive director of the ULI Center for Capital Markets and Real Estate, as the keynote speaker for the 2014 ULI Emerging Trends in Real Estate Report. The meeting takes place Thursday, Feb. 6 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Colony Bay Club in Bonita Springs. Schwanke will present an overview of ULI’s Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2014 report, a highly regarded trends and forecast publication. Michael Timmerman, senior associate at Fishkind & Associates, will discuss the outlook for Southwest Florida-area real estate, followed by a panel discussion with real estate experts from the region. Emerging Trends in Real Estate has a 34-year history and provides an outlook on U.S. investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas and other real estate issues. Based on personal interviews and surveys of more than 900 of the most influential leaders in the real estate industry, the publication offers insights on where to invest, which sectors and markets offer the best prospects and trends in the capital markets that will affect real estate.
