Neighborhood Lakes and Ponds Management Workshops

Neighborhood lakes and ponds have a lifespan. Depending on your management practices, you can extend this life before necessary dredging. In this workshop, participants will learn ways to lower their management costs while beautifying their landscapes and creating inviting habitat for wading birds and wildlife. Receive a free planting guide to help you select plants. Two workshops are offered in February: Convenient to Fort Myers and surrounding area: Friday, February 14 at Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council, 1926 Victoria Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901. Convenient to Estero/Bonita Springs and surrounding area: Friday, February 21 at Bonita Springs Community Hall, 27381 Old US 41, Bonita Springs, FL, 34135. These workshops are FREE and refreshments will be offered. Pre-registration is recommended. Walk-ins are welcome, if seating permits.
