Fossil Club of Lee County 9th Annual Fossil Show

  • Print

The Fossil Club of Lee County is proud to announce the date for our 9th annual fossil show! It will be on December 7, from 9am to 5pm, and will be held at the Araba Shriner’s Hall, 2010 Hanson St., Ft Myers, Florida, 33901. The Fossil Club of Lee County, over 20 years old, is an organization of enthused like-minded individuals seeking the discovery, adventure, knowledge and education of our fossil past. This annual show is our way of sharing that passion with the community. Attendees will be able to view fossil exhibits, listen to talks by some of the best speakers in the country, and have their children do an actual fossil hunt! The kids can keep what they find, and the adults have the opportunity to start, or add, to their own collections from the many fossil dealers participating! We will also have gem and minerals available as well as unique jewelry. The ongoing silent auctions give everyone a chance to get some interesting items. This fossil show is used as a fundraiser for the club and aids in their contributions towards educational science scholarships at two different Florida universities. Admission is only $3 for an adult and is, as always, free for any children under 12 years of age. Please come join us for a good time and an interesting day!!
