Music and Great Pumpkin Patch Highlight Fleamasters Fleamarkets' 3rd Annual Pumpkin Festival, October 11-13 Fall officially arrived this September. Bathing suits and beaches are out and pumpkins are in. There’s nothing that evokes autumn more than a big orange pumpkin. And you’ll find plenty at The Great Pumpkin Festival, Oct. 11–13, at Fleamasters Fleamarket, 4135 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Blvd., Ft. Myers. The three-day event features plenty of pumpkins, shopping and free entertainment. Musicians will stroll the main market, others will perform on the Music Hall Stage. Featured performers include the Blue Dirt Dixeland Jazz Band, Country Artist Colton James, Sanibel performer John Stey, and Accordionist Bob Lech. The Bayshore Elementary School Cloggers will dance Saturday at 1 p.m., and Hot Flashz Dancers Sunday at noon. Adopt a pumpkin ($5 to $15 per pumpkin) to personalize and take home at the Pumpkin Patch. And you can create a special Pumpkin Festival memory at the “Pumpkin Farmer’s Family Photo Spot.” The amazing Way Too Tall Torrie will navigate Fleamasters’ aisles, and the talented face-painter, Twinkle Toes the Clown, will entertain Saturday and Sunday. Fleamasters Fleamarket is open for shopping 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. At Fleamasters, you’ll find hundreds of unique, owner-operated stores. Parking and admission are free. “Like” Fleamasters Fleamarket on Facebook for more information, or see for the Pumpkin Festival schedule and updates.
