Pollo Tropical Pirate Fest at Fort Myers Beach

Friday night: 6 p.m. costumed pirates and musicians will join in a Pub‘n’Grub Stroll along Estero Boulevard and Old San Carlos Boulevard visiting participating restaurants. 9 p.m. Pieces of Eight pirate ship departs from Matanzas Inn Restaurant with costumed pirates for Big Game Waterfront Grill. Free shuttle service will return guests from Big Game to their hotels. Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a family friendly street festival featuring two stages with continuous entertainment. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,Kids-only fishing tournament with free fishing poles each day to the first 25 accompanied by an adult. 12:15 p.m., storytelling on the Crow's Nest Stage. 2:00 p.m. Sea Battle in Matanzas Harbor. All day: 40 vendor Thieves’ Market with authentic pirate goods. Cruises aboard the Black Duck, Black Pearl and Pieces of Eight. "Find the Pirate" kids’ scavenger hunt game earns pirate treasures. 5:00 closing cannon and drum circle. Saturday evening: Pirates’ Ball and Costume Contest at Nervous Nellie's. Admission: No admission charge for the festival, Pirate Ball tickets are $12 on line and $15 at the door
