Description:

Jason’s Deli of Southwest Florida is celebrating a decade in Naples with a thank you to the community for 10 years of support. The Power of Ten recognizes 10 local charitable organizations who will be the beneficiary of 10 percent of the Naples Jason’s Deli’s sales every Tuesday between Sept.17 and Nov. 19. Customers who also give back by making a $1 donation to the charity of the week will be entered in a drawing for a catered event for 10 people. Jason’s Deli of Naples is located at 2700 Immokalee Road at Airport Pulling Road. The nonprofit organizations that will benefit from the Power of Ten are NAMI of Collier County (Sept. 17); Meals of Hope (Sept. 24); PACE Center for Girls, Collier (Oct. 1); Champions For Learning (Oct. 8); Laces of Love Charitable Foundation (Oct. 15); The Shelter for Abused Women & Children (Oct. 22); ABLE Academy (Oct. 29); Angels Undercover of Collier County (Nov. 5); The Salvation Army, Collier (Nov. 12); and Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County (Nov. 19). “Community support has helped us reach this milestone,” said Diana Willis, owner-operator of Jason’s Deli of Southwest Florida. “Our celebration to help the Southwest Florida community acknowledges that appreciation and support for our first 10 years in Naples.” Donation totals will be based on the restaurant’s sales between 4 and 9 p.m. (dine in, carry out and delivery). A celebratory breakfast will be held at the Naples restaurant Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 8:30 a.m. when the checks will be presented to all 10 organizations. Jason’s Deli of Southwest Florida are located in Fort Myers: 13550 Reflection Parkway at Cypress Lake Drive; Naples: 2700 Immokalee Road at Airport Pulling Road; Cape Coral: 2311 Santa Barbara Boulevard near Veterans Parkway; Port Charlotte: 1100 El Jobean Road (SR 776 at U.S. 41); and Sarasota: 5231 University Parkway. In 2011, Parents magazine recognized Jason’s Deli as the No. 1 family restaurant chain in the nation. That award was based on an analysis of the food’s content, including calories, fat, saturated fat and sodium. Editors also compared the quality of ingredients (such as offering organic milk or antibiotic-free chicken), and conveniences including call-ahead seating, online ordering, crayons for children, and the availability of high chairs and booster seats. In 2009, Jason’s Deli became the first national restaurant to ban high-fructose corn syrup in its food. In 2010, they went a step further, eliminating artificial colors and dyes from the menu. The motivation for these changes started in the late 1990’s when Jason’s Deli began researching the removal of artificial trans fats from the menu. Founded by an Italian family in 1976, the Beaumont, Texas-based restaurant chain has nearly 230 locations in 28 states. Jason’s Deli core values are providing the highest quality of food, outstanding hospitality, highest personal standards, a great place to work and a healthy, growing company. The Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral and Sarasota restaurants are open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Port Charlotte is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. For additional information, visit jasonsdeli.com or call 239-985-7215.
