Bonita Bay Marina’s sixth annual boat show open to the public
Bonita Bay Marina hosts its sixth annual boat show Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3. The free event is open to the public, with an impressive display of ready-for-the-water boats of all types and sizes. Visitors will also get a glimpse into the boating lifestyle in Bonita Bay, with its full-service marina and Backwater Jacks waterfront restaurant. Bonita Bay Marina is hosting the three-day boat show with area partners including Fish Tale Sales & Service, Bonita Boat Center and MarineMax. The event showcases boats in water and on land, said Tibe Larson, marina manager. “This show is a great deal of fun for our visitors, so our attendance grows every year,” Larson said. “The selection of boats is phenomenal, and our visitors are able to climb aboard and even take a sea trial. Plus it’s great way to see what’s new on the market.” Fish Tale Sales & Service, Bonita Boat Center and MarineMax will display the latest models by Grady-White, Boston Whaler, Chaparral, Crest, Nautic Star, Parker, Robalo and Sea Ray. Additional vendors will demonstrate marine electronics, canvas and other boating accessories. Backwater Jacks, the waterfront restaurant located at Bonita Bay Marina will be open each day during the boat show. Boat show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A cocktail party, featuring complimentary beer, wine and appetizers, will be catered by Backwater Jacks Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. No registration is required, and all events are free.
